I must admit, I’m a sucker for a good dance number and a cute romantic plot. In my humble opinion, few bring those two together better than the 2011 remake of the classic movie, ‘Footloose‘ starring Julianne Hough and Kenny Wormald. Since I was in a ‘Footloose’ kind of mood and love sharing my outfits with you all, I decided to do a quick OOTD post. Enjoy!

Julianne’s character, Ariel, consistently wears outfits with a modern, country vibe. Flirty Levis denim shorts, frilly, lacy tops and numerous pairs of Frye boots serve to add a flirty side to Ariel’s look.

This braided belt from Target is a great way to anchor the look and add more western detail. It also looks very similar to the belt Hough wore in the movie.
I couldn’t resist incorporating some of my own touches to this look, adding my watch, phone case and Marc by Marc Jacobs bag.
